Section 1: Transformation
Section one is for those who want to dive straight in to sustainability transformation delivery and/or for those who want to assess and cost the level of effort involved.
Using our 5 stage, 10 step, cyclical delivery model as a roadmap, we show you in section one how to lay the foundations for sustainability within your organization so that you have the governance, management and support structures in place to effect full-scale transformation and/or to continually deliver and report on individual or multiple sustainability initiatives on an ongoing, incremental or phased basis.
In addition, we provide a comprehensive set of materials consisting of practical templates, examples and worksheets to further guide and support you through every stage and step of your sustainability transformation journey.
Section 2: Sustainable development and responsible business conduct (RBC)
Moving to a Circular Economy
In section two we tell you why you need to act and answer questions you were afraid to ask on sustainable development and responsible business conduct.
What is sustainable development? What is RBC? What is meant by climate change, biodiversity, human rights, etc.? What are your obligations under international and national law? How can you satisfy your stakeholders? Why are you being held accountable for the actions of your suppliers? How can you ensure your suppliers are not engaged in unethical or illegal behaviour?
In addition to answering the ‘what’ and the ‘why’, section two also answers the ‘how’, by providing a wide range of initiative ideas that your enterprise can put in place to improve your impact.

As transparent and effective reporting is essential to avoid greenwashing, non-compliance and the loss of customers and key stakeholders, we recommend reporting in accordance with one or more international frameworks or standards such as the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), GRI Standards or the IFRS Foundation’s International Integrated Reporting Framework. This will not only ensure your stakeholders have access to the information that is important to them, it will also help prepare your enterprise for any future legislative reporting requirements that may come your way, either directly or indirectly via key customers who are legally required to report on their value chain.
